ShorePoint is delighted to announce that our Executive Director, James Pittiglio, has been recognized as a 2022 Elastic Excellence Award Winner and named the Elastic Certified Professional of the Year. His recognition was announced by Elastic CEO, Ash Kulkarni, during the keynote of the ElasticON Global conference. The Elastic award recognizes Pittiglio for demonstrating his “professional achievements and success” within his role, expanding his “Elastic footprint,” and for delivering “tangible results” based on his knowledge and Elastic certification.

This award validates the hard work and commitment to excellence of Elastic, ShorePoint and our customers,” said Pittiglio. “I’m proud to be among like-minded individuals dedicated to developing innovative solutions and making a positive impact across the federal, defense and intelligence communities.”
The Certified Professional of the Year is unique in that it is awarded based on both personal and professional goals, as well as giving back to the Elastic community. Pittiglio, who is an Elastic Certified Engineer (ECE) and Elastic Certified Analyst (ECA), helped optimize Elastic for the benefit of ShorePoint customers’ cybersecurity missions. He is also an active participant in the Elastic Community Meet Ups.
Notably, Pittiglio achieved:
- Establishing a growing an Elastic Professional Services practice at ShorePoint
- Developing a curriculum and employee development plan that helped teammates achieve their own Elastic Certification
- Leading unique and differentiated solutions that support federal cybersecurity initiatives in improving the cyber resilience of our nation
