Washington, DC –ShorePoint Inc., a cybersecurity services company that protects customers’ critical assets from cyber threats, is the Washington-area’s ninth fastest-growing company, according to a 2021 ranking of hundreds of firms by the Washington Business Journal.
“Every year we have hundreds of companies that complete our survey and hope to make our coveted list. This year was no exception,” said Washington Business Journal Publisher Alex Orfinger. “This year was also an exceptionally hard year to make our list. The 75 companies on our list navigated a pandemic and economic downturn and still managed to see a revenue growth between 2018 and 2020. This was no easy feat.”
The Journal list is based on average percent year-over-year revenue growth from 2018, 2019, and 2020. Participating companies must be headquartered in the D.C. area, and were required to have more than $2 million in revenue in 2018 and more than $10 million in revenue in 2020 to qualify.
“We are grateful to our clients and our employees for enabling the growth we achieved over the past several years,” said Matt Brown, ShorePoint co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. “Driven by demand for effective cyber defenses and with the support of an outstanding team, ShorePoint continues to expand its position as a trusted provider of cybersecurity solutions to the nation’s most vital government agencies and critical infrastructure sectors.”
