We are seeking a Cybersecurity DevOps Engineer who have experience producing solutions driven by data analysis from complex and high dimensional data sets in the federal market. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provides engineering support to analyze hardware systems, hardware design, architecture, network design
  • Developing and building Information Technology solutions, to include installation and configuration of solutions developed through requirements provided by the customer
  • Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, limiting errors in production and expedite correction of any bugs identified in production
  • Ability to work through Security requirements prior to deployment of Information Technology solutions
  • Specifying, documenting and developing new product features, and writing automating scripts
  • Hands on administration, implementation and configuration of security tools to enhance the risk posture of customer networks. Prepares specifications for hardware by analyzing documented and derived system requirements
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for incidents relating to security tools/solutions
  • Working with customer teams and supporting current tasks and activities
  • Participation in technical meetings with customers’ technical specialists
  • Other project and corporate duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Possess excellent knowledge of security assessment, vulnerability management and compliance auditing capabilities along with the drive to rapidly learn the newest technologies
  • Previous experience using R, Matlab, Python Scikit-learn or other statistical modeling packages, with a focus on machine learning; experience with NLP a plus
  • Previous experience developing production systems for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data in Java, Python or similar technology stack
  • Previous experience with Hadoop technology stack (Map reduce, HIVE/PIG, etc)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player, capable of working collaboratively in customer teams
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP, Groovy, Bash

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, ForcePoint, F5 Firewall appliances
  • Cloud Cyber strategy, engineer and deployment experience
  • The candidate should possess deep knowledge of Tenable’s entire product suite
  • Technical Writing experience for updating System Security Plan, Concept of Operations,
  • Understanding of federal Cyber Security Guidance such as NIST SP 800-37 – Guide forApplying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems and NIST 800-137 – Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) for Federal Information Systems and Organizations 

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or other STEM discipline

Years of Experience Requirement

  • 5-7 years of experience administering Windows, Linux and/or virtual infrastructure to include installation, configuration and maintenance of enterprise networks, databases and servers

Certification Requirement

  • Must have or be willing to obtain IAT Level II certifications within 6 months of hire

Security Clearance

  • Must posses an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
