ShorePoint, Inc. Expands Advisory Services Offering

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 14, 2019 – ShorePoint Inc., a cybersecurity services company that protects customers’ critical assets from cyber threats, today announced it has expanded its Advisory Services offering for government agencies and commercial customers.  The full scope of services provides expert counsel and objective technology assessment based on real-world experience gained as cyber program integration experts and former public sector leaders in the cyber mission.

ShorePoint launched in 2017 and has since seen a significant and steady increase in demand for its consulting services prompting leadership to broaden its scope beyond technology evaluations and cyber program strategy.

“ShorePoint’s Advisory Services expansion is responding to increasingly strong demand for our team’s engagement and insights,” said Matt Brown, co-founder and chief executive officer of ShorePoint.  “Whether the need is building a programmatic strategy, strengthening cyber defenses or evaluating technologies—or even companies—for acquisition, we provide objective and highly-informed guidance that is both actionable and effective.”

ShorePoint’s Advisory Services now include market insights and capture strategies; cyber program strategy for government and commercial enterprises; business strategy; organizational and cyber operations process improvements; and CISO strategic counsel.

“Our services offering is a strong complement to ShorePoint’s experience with the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program, which remains a cornerstone of our business,” added Brown.  “As we approach our two-year anniversary milestone, ShorePoint continues to grow by filling gaps in the market, acquiring outstanding talent, and delivering with excellence for our clients.  That formula has given ShorePoint a solid reputation and feeds demand for our insights and counsel.”

ShorePoint has designed, implemented and managed proven effective cyber security programs for high-risk customers within the federal civilian, defense, and intelligence communities, and has extensive commercial experience supporting high technology, financial services, critical infrastructure, and healthcare.  The firm is focused on establishing meaningful cyber defense strategies while driving proactive security enhancements to help customers stay ahead of the evolving cyber threat landscape.
