Originally created for the U.S. Department of Defense to assess software contractors, ISACA’s CMMI Program today assesses organizations around the world and across industries to understand their level of capability and performance. An organization’s CMMI maturity level demonstrates a distinct competitive advantage and proves its capabilities as a “quality business partner and supplier.”

An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates that ShorePoint processes are well-characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and improved over time, according to the ISACA designation.
