We are seeking an Enterprise Security Architect who has the necessary Enterprise experience and broad and deep technical expertise to architect and design cyber security enterprise solutions into a Federal Agency’s overacrching enterprise. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Shape and maintian deep insight into the CDM Security Architecture Strategy at assigned Civilain Agency
  • Lead technical engagements to assess client business and technical objectives, determine deliverables, evaluate risk and execute projects effectively
  • Architects and designs enterprise-class security systems for complex  production environments
  • Align applicable standards, frameworks and security objectives with overall mission,technology and information security strategy
  • Routinely Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats to all levels of an Agency’s organization
  • Conduct Design Workshops with multiple diverse stakeholders, including Enterprise IT and Security Architecture, Security and IT Engineering, Product Owners, front-line and Executive leadership
  • Design technical security architectures which mitigate threats as they emerge
  • Create Security Architecture solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Work with Service Design management to develop strategic plans for architecture, engineering, integration, and dashboard for Civil Agencies
  • Ensure CDM policies and procedures are followed via audits and other inspection mechanisms.
  • Provide reporting and feedback to internal CDM senior management as required
  • Support the development and delivery of RFS proposals and/or Rough Orders Magnitude (ROMs) for initiatives as required
  • Assist in rectifying Program technical and operational issues and improving service in faltering/failing Agency projects
  • Ability to work on-site at assigned Agency on a regular basis
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

Experience implementing technical solutions in complex and heterogeneous environments, including the following

    • Experience developing, configuring, and delivering COTS solutions in support of enterprise security solutions
    • Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
    • Experience leading integration planning activities of multiple U.S. Government Agencies
    • Experience leading multi-organizational and matrixed technical resources and teams in accordance with approved integration plans and TO terms and conditions
    • Minimum 3 year experience architecting and implementing security architectures for the secure utilization of Cloud Computing (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) technologies
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in security policy development enabling the secure adoption of emerging cybersecurity technologies
    • A minimum of 10 to15 years experience deploying technical solutions into Enterprises, includingIT security operational experience, assessment of information assurance and interoperability, Security Authorization requirements, developing and enhancing the security risk posture, and analysis and reporting of IT security metrics.
    • Demonstrated expertise in security policy and implementation
    • Experience collaborating with Agencies to mature operational processes, reduce redundancies, and develop innovative solutions
    • Experience understanding organizational needs, proposing solutions, and managing project execution efforts designed to deliver overall program benefits for Government Agencies
    • Experience collaborating with US Government Agencies, state or local governments, or commercial entities to develop IT service program maturity in accordance with Federal IT mandates and best practices
    • Strong experience in ensuring customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and risk management on several medium to large Enterprise projects
    • Technical leadership in Enterprise Architecture (EA), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and IT Service Delivery to multiple U.S. Government Agencies.
    • Experience in NIST RMF or CDM Framework
    • Experience in conducting assessments at an Enterprise by reviewing technical documentations, conducting interviews and workshops to identify gaps and developing a tailored solution is highly desired
    • Demonstrated experience in security solution design using existing and emerging technologies to achieve enterprise solutions.
    • General scripting experience

Desired Skills

  • Prior CDM experience preferred, but not required

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred

Years of Experience Requirement

  • Minimum of 15 years of enterprise architecting & engineering experience with DHS and DoD clients

Certification Requirement

  • ISC2 CISSP is preferred
  • Certifications such as CCIE, CCSP, Security+, CCNP Security, CCNA Security, CISA, VCP, GSE, SCNA, GCIH, and/or GLSC is highly desired

  • Must be abe able to obtain a DHS EoD Public Trust/Suitability
  • Active clearances preferred
